WORK EXPERIENCE

09/2013-Present: Health Systems Specialist-Field Implementation Team Consultant (FIT) VHA Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation(12PCCCT)

  • Served as acting Regional Lead during Region 4 Lead’s leave coverage (VISN 1, 2,4 & 10).

  • Actively participate in recruitment and hiring process for Region 4 FIT Vacancies.

  • Collaborate and Communicate with other VHA National Program Office leaderships for PCMHI, PACT, Social Work, SCI/D, Hospice, etc.

  • Utilize change management tools and techniques in developing WH implementation consultative strategies for VISN and facility leadership.

  • Provided mentorship and supervision for new hire joining the FIT as consultants during their first year with the Region 4 Field Implementation Team.

  • Manage onsite engagements requiring coordination of activities, FIT staff assignments as well as oversight of multiple VA and contract education staff.

  • Developed and implemented Veterans Treatment Courts in the mid and lower Hudson Valley region; serve as a liaison between the legal system and the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System.

  • Developed policies, procedure and performance appraisal for the VJO position.

  • Efficiently managed quarterly VJO budget with Fiscal Department.

  • Coordinated and implemented a VISN 3 VJO training event.
